Luftwaffe Dagger — E & F Horster Solingen
SOLD!Here we have a very well preserved, and highly sought after Luftwaffe dagger, by maker E&F Horster, Solingen. We love these ivory colored grips with the silvery toned braided aluminum wiring. Such an elegant look! Aside from age discoloration on one side of the grip, which we sometimes see with daggers that have been stored untouched for decades, there is a very small hairline crack (about 1/4 inch) at the top of the grip close to the pommel cap…

SA Dagger by SMF Solingen
SOLD!This is one of the first SMF made SA Daggers I’ve come across. They seem to be very hard to find despite only rating a 5 out of 10 on the McSARR scale. The grip is a very attractive light brown tone, almost having a slight orange hue. The eagle has a nice age patina that matches the nickel guards and scabbard fittings, and has miraculously retained an honest 98% of its factory detail – barely worn at all. The SA roundel has lost about 30% of its brown background enamel to wear, and shows some age discoloration along the bottom rim…
