German SS Militaria

Here’s a really nice, early Boker SS dagger with anodized scabbard and nickel fittings. The grip on this Boker show honest use wear, but no more than is typical and expected. There is one very tiny chip (about an 8th of an inch) on the left side of the SS roundel where the wood meets the upper guard. The guard fittings are nice and tight against the ebony grip, with a light verdigris where the wood and nickel meet, implying that the dagger has not been cleaned or taken apart…

This is a type 2, 1936 Chained SS Dagger nicely preserved in the veteran’s family since the war. It doesn’t get much better than this in terms of quality and condition. We rate this dagger as mint considering the amazing condition when compared to 99% of the type 2 chained SS daggers out there…

Here is a real find; a very early SS dagger with numbered scabbard, matching high nickel content fittings and a very rare and desirable Gothic motto font type on the blade. This dagger was a vet bring back and was recently acquired from the Vet’s son. The dagger crossguards are the early Nickel type internally marked “PA” with nicely executed accent grooves seen on these type of crossguards. They also show a strong yellow (straw colored) hue when examined under nice even lighting, which is common with these real early daggers…

Here’s a really nice and very desirable Ernst Pack & Sohne (E.P.&S.) SS dagger with a ton of appeal! The grip is a real beauty, with hints of brown showing through the black when you turn it under the light. The surface has very few blemishes – only the usual ding or minor scratch here and there from normal use. There are no cracks or chips either, which is a real treat considering how susceptible these grips are to damage.

We do love these Robert Klaas SS Daggers! Their maker’s mark of the two kissing cranes has become synonymous with SS Daggers, and is an extremely popular maker with collectors. Overall this SS Dagger is about as good as it gets when considering it has been in a veteran’s footlocker since the end of the war, and not messed with since!
