Heer Officers Service Dress Tunic & Visor

This beautifully preserved German WW2 tunic and visor cap set is from a Heer Infanterie Hauptmann (Captain) of the Reserve. Aside from a few minor moth holes, most notably under the armpits and out of direct sight, this set is immaculate! The matching visor cap sports a more rare bullion kokarde and wreath, but was not found with the typical officer chin cord. This may very well have been removed by the officer because he preferred the look without it.

This beautifully preserved German World War 2 tunic and visor cap set is from a Heer Infanterie Hauptmann (Captain) of the Reserve. Aside from a few minor moth holes, most notably under the armpits and out of direct sight, this set is immaculate! The matching visor cap sports a more rare bullion cockade and wreath, but was not found with the typical officer chin cord. This may very well have been removed by the officer because he preferred the look without it. This German WWII tunic also displays the rare “Kuban” shield stitched firmly to the left arm. The Kuban shield was a German military award instituted on September 21, 1943 to commemorate those who fought to preserve the bridgeheads in the Kuban region from February 1943 until they were abandoned in October.

Early SA Dagger by Rare Maker Otto Simon
SOLD!Here’s an exceptional SA dagger by the extremely rare maker Otto Simon, who ranks a 9 on the McSARR 10 scale. Starting at the grip we see a very nice reddish brown tone to the wood, which aside from a few minor dings shows only normal use wear and is in very good condition.

Hi MilitaryGuy. Thanks for the kind words! The visor and tunic are indeed from the same German soldier, as are the button ribbons and ribbon Spange. The belt, buckle and other accessories were added separately. As for purchasing as a set, I’m sure we can work something out :)

This is an awesome tunic display! Is the visor cap and tunic a matching set from the same German soldier? Are all of the medals, ribbons and other accessories (belt, buckle, etc) also from the soldier, or were they added separately? I’m also curious is everything can be purchased together as a complete German uniform grouping?
