Type I Chained SS Dagger
SOLD!Here’s a Chained SS Type I dagger with some interesting qualities, priced to sell! Perhaps the most obvious unique quality about this dagger is the use of SA guards. While not often encountered, many collectors have embraced the idea of surplus SA guards being applied to SS daggers in an effort to utilize the materials already sitting around in the factories.

SA Dagger by Wagner & Lang (scarce maker)
SOLD!Another beautiful SA dagger from the seldom seen maker, Wagner & Lang. The grip on this dagger is a nice chocolate tone in near perfect condition. The nickel guards appear to be uncleaned, and show very little wear. Pommel nut shows no marks from pliers (has not been removed) and no swirl marks.

The nice walnut grip on this dagger shows some of the most striking grain of any SA daggers out there. Very few dings or scratches can be found on the surface, and no notable cracks.

The nickel plated fittings are superb, with only modest use scratches. The ebony grip is smooth and virtually flawless. Typically you find these with several deep scratches, dings, dents or even repainted. The grip on this example is the best we’ve seen, down to the detail of the grip insignia.
