German Daggers & Knives
Carl Eickhorn Partial Ground Rohm SA Dagger – Personalized
SOLD!A very nice “field ground” Rohm SA Dagger by Eickorn. In 1934, Ernst Rohm was executed on Hitler’s orders, and all inscriptions on these daggers were ordered removed (ground away) by Hitler. There are several points of the inscription still identifiable on this one due to the crude nature of the “field grinding”…

First Model Kriegsmarine Dagger (rare black grip) by Alcoso
SOLD!Here’s a real nice, early first pattern Kriegsmarine dagger with hard to come by black grip by the Alcoso firm. Typically we see these with white grips so it’s a real treat to have one in black. This dagger overall is in exceptional condition. German Uniforms & Tunics
Luftwaffe Tuchrock (School Tunic)
SOLD!This is a Luftwaffe School Tunic (Luftwaffe Tuchrock for an Obergefreiter of Flieger KriegsSchule). The breast eagle is very nicely preserved, with solid stitching and detail. The shoulder boards are firmly seated into the seams of the sleeves, and bare the markings “KS”, which I can only assume stands for “KriegsSchule”. Collar tabs are filled with three gulls each, all period and all original to the tunic. On the left sleeve are two very nice badges including a “Flight Technical Personnel” trade badge (lower badge), and “Obergefreiter’s” rank chevron (higher badge)…

RLB Leader Dagger 2nd Model — Paul Weyersberg
SOLD!Here’s a salty RLB Leader’s Dagger for a collector on a budget. RLB Daggers are very difficult to find so any time we see one (in any condition) we pick it up. The hilt fittings have lost most of their silver wash, showing mostly the underlying brass. The pommel is really the only part that still retains the majority of the silvering. The detail in the eagle is very good, although a bit dirty…

SA Dagger by Peter Lungstrass
SOLD!A very nice, early (1933-35) SA Dagger by a seldom encountered maker, Peter Lungstrass. This is a true beauty! Very deep cherry colored grip, with scabbard to match. The wood of the grip is extremely smooth with very few imperfections (you have to look close to find them). The metal fittings are a bit loose, but there are absolutely no signs of the pommel nut ever having been removed so the loose fit is likely due to some minor shrinkage over time, and not from being messed with. The metal of the cross guards are near perfect, with no signs of oxidation or tarnishing at all. The Inspection Stamp “Wm” (Westmark) is clearly visible on the lower cross guard (on the same side as the maker mark)…

Luftwaffe Dagger — Puma Solingen
SOLD!A very attractive Puma Luftwaffe dagger here! Take a good look at the pictures to see for yourself. The scabbard is an eye catching deep gray tone. This coloring matches the coloring of the grip fittings, as you can see. There is some minor oxidation spotting throughout the scabbard, but nothing to be concerned about, very typical with these…

SA Dagger by SMF Solingen
SOLD!This is one of the first SMF made SA Daggers I’ve come across. They seem to be very hard to find despite only rating a 5 out of 10 on the McSARR scale. The grip is a very attractive light brown tone, almost having a slight orange hue. The eagle has a nice age patina that matches the nickel guards and scabbard fittings, and has miraculously retained an honest 98% of its factory detail – barely worn at all. The SA roundel has lost about 30% of its brown background enamel to wear, and shows some age discoloration along the bottom rim…
