The grip is a real beauty, with hints of brown showing through the black when you turn it under the light. The surface has very few blemishes – only the usual ding or minor scratch here and there from normal use. There are no cracks or chips either, which is a real treat considering how susceptible these grips are to damage.

She’s a bit salty, but still a great dagger for the price! The grip is without any cracks or chips and shows almost no dings or dents, which is rare for an early SS dagger. The SS roundel is almost 100%, with only a very small piece of the black enamel missing, which we only noticed after viewing under magnification.
