Here’s a fine example Government Official’s Dagger, complete with the original hangers. The silvering overall is 100%, and does not appear to have been polished or cleaned – just a nice natural patina. The artificial mother-of-pearl grip plates are without cracks or chips, only very minor use scratches noticeable in the right lighting. This has to be one of the rarest Third Reich daggers around, as well as one of the most desirable, and most beautiful! Few collectors are lucky enough to see one in person, much less have the good fortune to add one to their collection. Here’s a nice Government Official’s dagger in rare condition! It’s hard to find a Government Dagger without at least 30-50% plating loss, and even harder still to find one with a nice blade. This one has it all! As mentioned, the plating on this dagger is just south of 100%. I’ve personally never held one as shiny and new in appearance as this one…
