Heer (Army) Dagger by Alcoso with Scarce Hi-lift Guard
These don’t come around too often, and when they do they don’t last. An Alcoso “high-lift” dagger. The cream-colored grip is free of cracks and chips. The interior of the grip is blaster based, with the celluloid surface formed around the plaster. Very unique to this type of dagger.

The grip fittings have seen some plating corrosion over the decades, which is apparent in the eagle’s details as well as on the back surface of the eagle and the pommel cap. Still a lot to love about this one, with a significant amount of detail still very prominent.
The scabbard is nice and clean with over 90% of the silvering still in tact and no notable dents or dings.
The blade is very nice on this dagger, with only a few cloudy spots and the normal scabbard rash. The horizontal Alcoso makers mark is very proud on the reverse near the guard.
