Here we have a very nice example Anti-partisan Badge (silver grade) with the seldom seen thin style pin and round catch. This is a truly exceptional example, with all the right hallmarks. These zinc based badges are notorious for losing their finish over time, but this one still have a small amount of silvering on and around the skull.

Here we have a very nice example Antipartisan Badge (silver grade) with the seldom seen thin style pin and round catch.
This is a truly exceptional example, with all the right hallmarks. These zinc based badges are notorious for losing their finish over time, but this one still have a small amount of silvering on and around the skull. One might mistake this for a bronze grade if not for the faint remnants of silver.
Inspected under strong magnification, this one has no cracks, chips or even hints of any damage whatsoever. The pin on the reverse is the seldom seen thin style pin, with matching tubular catch hook. These pins differ from the more standard, fat and flat reverse hour glass shaped pins, and are more sought after by collectors due to their rarity. The pin swings very loose and freely as expected.
