Here we have a Silver Wound badge by a seldom seen maker, “Paul Meybauer Berlin” (L/13). This badge was acquired along with an Iron Cross 1st Class (cased) that we both discovered by the veterans son after his father’s passing.

Here we have a Silver Wound badge by a seldom seen maker, “Paul Meybauer Berlin” (L/13). This badge was acquired along with an Iron Cross 1st Class (cased) that we both discovered by the veterans son after his father’s passing.
Overall the silver wash has mostly disappeared to the zinc base metal, but there is still about 20 – 30% remaining on the front and back sides. As is typical with these zinc badges, the non-zinc parts, such as the pin, hinge and hook catch, still retain much of the original silver wash.
On the front and back sides we can see a couple of scratches, but overall the condition is very good.

SOLD!Here’s an exceptional SA dagger by the extremely rare maker Otto Simon, who ranks a 9 on the McSARR 10 scale. Starting at the grip we see a very nice reddish brown tone to the wood, which aside from a few minor dings shows only normal use wear and is in very good condition.
