If you’re in the market for a nice, early SA dagger by a rare maker, look no further. Here’s one by the maker Gustav Voss, rating a 9 out of 10 on the McSarr rarity scale!
In fantastic overall condition the grip on this Voss SA dagger shows only minor wear, with a grip eagle and SA roundel that are about as good as it gets! The roundel and guards show a nice green verdigris in all the right areas so we know this one hasn’t been cleaned or tampered with.
The blade shows only very minor wear and age, almost not worth mentioning. In short, this is a spectacular blade by any account!
The anodized scabbard shows age and wear consistent with the rest of the dagger, including a matching patina to the metal fittings. All screws are securely in place with no signs of tampering. The only thing to note on the scabbard is a slight wobble to the tip fitting, which is likely just the result of one of the points needing to be adjusted inward to create a tighter squeeze against the scabbard body.
