Hungarian Royal Air Force Dagger
Here is a rare find! A very nice (as nice as they come in fact) World War 2 Hungary Air Force Dress Dagger. The blade is in immaculate condition, with a well marked ricasso displaying the Kozak Antal Budapest maker mark on one side, followed by the number 682, and the standard crest stamp on the reverse. The grip is a fine example, clean, dark, and virtually void of flaw. The detail in the metal parts and fittings is stunning, as if this dagger saw little to no use. The scabbard detail is absolutely exquisite, locking firmly into place against the cross guard release button as expected…

The maroon coloring is something I’ve seen with these daggers before. Although not your typical tarnish color, I believe this to be an age discoloration due to the type of metal used with these daggers.
