Hitler Youth (HJ) Armband with NSDAP Pin
Very nice three piece construction Hitler Youth armband with white diamond and swastika applied in layers onto the armband. NSDAP pin by maker Ges Gesch., attached as it was when purchased from the Widow of the vet.

Very nice three piece construction Hitler Youth armband with white diamond and swastika applied in layers onto the armband. NSDAP pin by maker Ges Gesch., attached as it was when purchased from the Widow of the vet.
According to the original owner’s Widow (Mary), this armband was removed from an HJ soldier killed in combat during the battler for the city of Caen on D-Day (June 6, 1944) by her husband, Miles. The Hitler Youth soldiers were attempting to snipe the British troops and attacking their tanks. Post war, Miles went on to marry an American woman (Mary) and moved to the U.S. until his death in 2006.

These full stag grips are becoming much harder to find as the years pass! The hilt has a nice deep gray patina with spots of silver peeking through in areas, but overall there is very little wear.

The grip on this dagger is a nice chocolate tone in near perfect condition. The nickel guards appear to be uncleaned, and show very little wear. Pommel nut shows no marks from pliers (has not been removed) and no swirl marks.
