Here’s a nice M42 Heer Helmet in combat used condition. If you’re one of the many collectors NOT looking for a minty German army helmet, but one that actually shows use, this one’s for you!
All around this helmet shows solid use, and what was likely a hard life during the war. While there are a decent amount of scuffs and scratches, the liner is complete, and the chin strap is present (although in need of some repair). The decal is about 85%, with some scratches through the lower part of the eagle and top of the Swastika. On the underside, we see the maker and size stamp “ckl 66” and batch number (what appears to be) “2665”.
