This 1942 dated brown leather tabbed Luftwaffe belt buckle is in average condition, still retaining a good deal of detail in the eagle and wreath. Both buckle and leather tab are marked, H. Aurich Dresden, 1942. The belt has a weathered black exterior, smooth brown interior, with gray painted clasp and the markings “S/C 43” stamped into the hook.
This is a superb example of a Luftwaffe EM/NCO buckle & correct brown leather belt. The belt buckle is marked on the leather tab, “F. W. Assmann & Söhne”, while the belt has the marking, “B. A. Br. 10 39”. Both are very high quality, and extremely well preserved. The leather of the belt is supple, yet firm (as is expected), with normal scratches and imperfections expected from a wartime used piece. The buckle is equally as attractive with about 80% of its original blue/gray color, and about equally as much detail still remaining.
Very nice quality, unmarked black leather belt with enlisted man / NCO unmarked buckle. Buckle still retains more than 80% of its detail, and is an absolutely beautiful piece by itself. The matching belt, complete with adjustable buckle strap, very nicely detailed hook, and supple high quality, well preserved leather, completes the set very nicely.
