Dutch NSB WA Tunic Sleeve Patch
$300.00
This NSB (Nationaal-Socialistisch Beweging) patch would have been worn on the arm of the black WA (Weerbaarheidsafdeling – the Dutch version of the Nazi SA) tunic. It is constructed of multi-piece black and red wool, bordered with what is believed to be hand-embroidered gold bullion. The “Wolfshook” logo in the center (derived from the Germanic Wolfsangel symbol) is beautifully and skillfully constructed of the same raised embroidered bullion. The only notable flaw is s small moth nip (see photos)…

Very rare and hard-to-find Dutch WA NSB tunic armshield – one of two that we currently have in our inventory (click here to view the other). The only notable flaw is a small moth nip (see photos). The size of the nip is manageable from a repair point of view, but nonetheless the price reflects the flaw.
The reverse shows 98% of the original paper covering. You can see the embossing of the underlying stitching related to the border and center Wolfshook logo.
A nice example overall of this extremely scarce Dutch NSB patch. Dimensions are 2 1/4 inches from bottom of triangle to the peak, and 2 1/2 inches between points.
