Luftschutz Three-Piece Beaded Gladiator Helmet
SOLD!Luftschutz 3-piece Gladiator-style helmet, complete with original liner and chin-strap. Everything about this helmet is absolutely beautiful! The chinstrap, though rigid and showing signs of age, is in extremely good condition. The liner is the same; aside from a fair amount of dust that was present at the time the helmet was acquired. Decal is 98%. Paint has average scratching and scuffs.

1940 E.u.F Hörster Bayonet with Tan Frog
SOLD!1940 E.u.F Hörster WW2 German Combat Bayonet with brown leather frog. The blade and scabbard are not matching in this set (i.e. the numbers do not match), but the quality and condition is top of the line. Both blade and scabbard are well marked, with the maker (E.u.F Hörster) on one side of the blade, and the serial number, “6095c” on the other. On the blade’s edge is the number “40”, denoting the year of manufacture as 1940. The blade’s condition is excellent, with over 90% of its bluing in tact, and scabbard wear the only notable imperfection. The scabbard bares the number “1060t”, and retains approximately 90% of its original finish, with only minor imperfections. The frog is of firm, high quality brown leather, and bares no notable markings.

Cased Iron Cross First Class by Zimmermann (“20”)
SOLD!Here’s one right out of the woodwork. Completely uncleaned and untouched, this Cased Iron Cross 1st Class award still has dust on the surface from the years of storage! The cross is in beautiful condition, with much of the original silver wash remaining on front and back sides. The black paint over the magnetic core is 100%, with no visible chips.

Cased Iron Cross First Class – Funcke & Brüninghaus (L/56)
SOLD!Iron Cross 1st class, EKI (Eisernes Kreuz I Klasse mit Etui) by Funcke & Brüninghaus (L/56). A very nice, minty example with a shiny frame that has only slightly colored. The magnetic black core retains 100% of its finish, with absolutely no discoloration or signs of rust. The reverse shows splotches of discoloration, but only adds to the beauty of this piece. There is a solid metal hinge and a “C” shaped flat metal catch to go along with a coke bottle shaped pin that functions smoothly. It is stamped in relief on the outside with the LDO code of the manufacturer, Funcke & Brüninghaus (L/56). Examples just don’t get better than this one.

Waffen SS Bevo EM/NCO Runic Collar Tab
SOLD!Here’s a nice looking Waffen SS EM/NCO Bevo Runic Collar Tab. The “SS” runes insignia are a machine woven gray/silver on a rayon ribbed backing cloth. On the reverse we see the correct angled wrapping around a beige buckram stiffener. This SS collar tab was acquired directly from the veteran in a lot that includes several other SS insignia (many Dachau manufactured).

Army (Heer) Officer Dagger by Carl Eickhorn
SOLD!A very nice WW2 German Dagger, this Heer Officer Dagger bears the Carl Eickhorn Solingen maker mark on the blade. The blade measures 10.25”, and is the traditional stiletto style with flat central ridge. Total length (including the hilt) is approximately 14.5″. This dagger has never been cleaned, stored untouched since World War 2, and purchased directly from the daughter of the vet who brought it home. Aside from a hairline crack in the handle, the dagger is virtually without flaw considering it was a used war time piece.

1939 E.u.F Hörster Bayonet with Frog – Numbers Matching
SOLD!This is one of the nicest matching WWII combat bayonet sets I’ve come across. An E.u.F Hörster maker combat bayonet, with clear markings and 99% bluing on the blade. Markings include the E.u.F Hörster makers mark, “39” on the blade’s edge (denoting the year of manufacture 1939), and the number 9420b clearly marked on both the blade and the scabbard. The scabbard retains about 95% of its finish, with only a minor ding and a couple very minor scratches worth noting. The frog has no notable markings. but is very firm and high quality; showing very little age.
